The Problem Statement: A fictious car company Lebensraum wants the website of its newest launch, hybrid SUV Meister, to be not only a medium to share images, but also a live, interactive and engaging experience. Hence they will be laying special emphasis on the coolness quotient (CQ) of the design, animations which bring the website to life and the ease of its usage. Further it should be browse-able and presentable on multiple resolution screens and multi-devices.
The Solution: A jquery animated website adjusts itself to multiple resolutions with a single CSS only! With functional assets, html /
dynamic pages for the website. Got the first prize.
How does it work? The stripping of the UI were triggered by certain threshold resolutions. For tablet resolutions below 1280px, the Jquery animation was disabled followed by single column display below a resolution of 1000px. Easily accessible touch buttons replaced the header image for display resolutions below 800px. Since the stripping was controlled by a single CSS, with pre-loaded images the transitions were smooth.
